It was an exciting moment for the people of Ikorodu during the governor’s visit where he commissioned projects and also visited some ongoing projects. He commissioned a state-of-the-art mini stadium and a computerized Youth Centre in the Ita-Elewa area of the ancient town, Ikorodu.

The Youth Centre project was set up to provide a conducive environment for sporting purposes and to cater to the education and vocational needs of youths in Ikorodu. A mini-stadium, built with a semi-standard basketball court, was developed to support sports development.

The governor stated that his administration will sustain the tempo of development. With the ongoing construction of Agric-Isawo-Konu-Arepo Road, Ikorodu Roundabout, construction of Emuren Junction, and Parafa Along on Ikorodu-Imota Road, upgrading of Bola Ahmed Tinubu-Igbogbo-Igbe Road, construction of Oba Sekumade Road, improvement project at Sulaimon Soderu Bypass and construction of Powerline Road in Akasoleri, among others.

This is a welcome development for residents and subscribers of Adron’s estate in Ikorodu; Town parks and Gardens estate, phase one, and its extension. All this joins the ongoing development of the rice mill in Imota. The production capacity of the rice mill in Imota will set it among the largest in the world, and the largest in sub-Saharan Africa with 2.5 million bags of 50kg rice annually.

The mill when fully operational will ensure a steady supply of freshly processed rice of about 2.4 million bags of 50kg per annum to Lagosians. Additionally, over 250,000 jobs are forecasted to be created in both the upstream and downstream sectors of the rice value chain.

With these developments springing up, buying land or investing in real estate in Ikorodu is now a no-brainer. The value of properties there will be appreciating faster than ever before.

You don’t have to miss this great opportunity.

Now is thd best time to invest in Imota-Emuren, Ikorodu.
